At Aquatots, we really appreciate the value of family holidays. Having time away from the everyday normal, to make memories with your little ones before they are all grown up, is so important, but those holidays can be over so quickly!!
The Aquatots Summer Swimming Term, however, will give you weeks and weeks of fun bonding time over the Summer months, whatever the weather, whilst continuing the amazing progress made already in your Spring Term.
Continuing that progress and avoiding long breaks is exactly why Aquatots run 4 terms a year and keep our classes running throughout much of the Summer. Even with planned holidays, we will do all we can to help you avoid skipping a term, and here are just a few reasons why.

Gaps In Learning
Skipping a term, such as Summer, could mean no lessons from mid-June to Mid-October, which is up to 4 months!! You already know how much can change with our children in that time, and getting back into structured swim lessons can be more challenging with big breaks. Never underestimate how important regular swimming is for building your child’s water confidence, skills, and progression! After spending all that time, money and effort in getting to where you are now, it would be a real shame to interrupt the fun and learning now!
Family Swimming is a great addition, but not a replacement for Structured lessons
Aquatots pride ourselves on teaching parents our skills so that practice can happen away from our lessons, but children can get bored without new skills being introduced often. Our progressive programme introduces at least one new skill in every lesson to ensure our swimmers stay excited to attempt new skills and continue to develop.
Booked Lessons ensure you swim regularly
A well-intended plan to visit the local leisure centre can be great, but how often does that get postponed if the weather is not great or something on the to-do list pops up more pressing? A set of lessons already paid for are much less likely to be missed.
Keeping your preferred Swim Class
Each term we reserve a space for our swimmers in the following term to ensure they keep to a similar swim time, venue and Teacher and of course, the swim friends they and you are already making! Sadly, skipping a term means losing that reserved space and joining a new class upon your return if spaces are available. There is also a chance that your existing class may be cancelled if there are not enough swimmers to continue.
And finally ... we would miss you far too much!!
